On July 16, 2026, Dr. Steven Pantilat delivered the annual "State of the Division" address, highlighting a year of significant achievement, resilience, and forward momentum for UCSF’s Division of Palliative Medicine (DPM).
The presentation celebrated growth across our core missions: clinical care, education, and research and innovation. The division now includes over 75 team members, and recent accolades include faculty promotions, national leadership roles, and new educational funding awards.
