We’re excited that you are considering joining our fellowship! We welcome all applications from qualified candidates. If you have any questions about the application process after reading the information below, please do not hesitate to contact our program coordinator, Adrienne Mathis at A[email protected].
Our five (5) available adult categorical positions, one (1) position in our Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and one (1) combined Geriatrics/Palliative Care position for the class matriculating in July will be filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP, The “Match”). Candidates can begin submitting applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) on July 1st.
To begin your application, please follow the ERAS Fellowships Documents Office instructions found here. Please be sure to register with both ERAS and NRMP in order to be eligible for the Match. You can register with NRMP by going to the NRMP Website. Please note you will need to use your AAMC ID from your ERAS application to register for the NRMP.
Applicants for the combined Geriatrics/Palliative Care program should also apply to the UCSF Geriatrics program. For additional information, please contact Lynn Flint.
Before submitting your application through NRMP, please familiarize yourself with the match agreements.
Our NRMP Program Codes are 1062540F0 (Adult) and 1062540F1 (Pediatrics).
ERAS applications open July 1st for entry in July one year later (e.g., July 2020 applications are for the July 2021 program). We will review applications beginning August 12th, and the deadline to apply is September 1st. Interviews will be held virtually from late September through the end of October. Match results will be released in December according to the NRMP medicine subspecialties calendar.
