Staff Physician

Dr. Timothy Poore is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Palliative Medicine. He serves as an attending physician on the Palliative Care Consult Service at Parnassus, and as an attending physician on the Palliative Care Consult Service at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Poore received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and attended medical school at the University of California San Francisco, where he focused his training on the care of the urban underserved. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at UCSF followed by a year as a Chief Resident at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital before completing a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at UCSF. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
