CSW III – Inpatient Adult Palliative Care & Surgical Oncology

Hannah Gordon, LCSW is originally from New York City but has been living in San Francisco (by way of Chicago) for 10 years. After graduating from The University of Chicago with her MSW, she worked as a clinical social worker at Stanford Health Care with the Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant team. Hannah joined UCSF in 2023 as the Inpatient Adult Palliative Care social worker for UCSF's Mission Bay campus. She now spends half her time with Palliative Care Services and the other half of her time with the Surgical Oncology and ICU teams at Mission Bay.

Hannah is honored to be part of the Palliative Care team and finds the work to be satisfying and challenging with ongoing opportunities for growth and learning.

In her personal life, Hannah's loves to read, cook, and travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and their quirky and snuggly rescue dog.
