For this month's DPM Education Hour, Denah Joseph will lead a discussion on emotional intelligence in teams.

The Rev. Denah Joseph is an ordained Buddhist minister in the Theravada tradition and serves as the outpatient palliative care chaplain at the Parnassus Heights campus, working with patients and families with advanced illness and end-of-life concerns.  She is active in teaching both medical students and house staff, and has a particular interest in sustainability and self-care for clinicians in high-stress environments.  She has also worked as a psychotherapist for many years, specializing in working with people with advanced illness and their families.  Denah is a board certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She is the Associate Chair for Wellness and Resiliency in the UCSF Division of Palliative Medicine.
